Thank you for being patience as we have been working hard for the last couple of weeks putting teams together and assigning coaches to those teams.

Most coaches have received their team rosters and they should be contacting you with details about practices.

This past weekend the question about the “Difference between NorCal Premier and CalNorth (CYSA)” was asked by a number of parents who are interested in having their son/daughter be a part of a local youth soccer club.

We asked that every parent do their research as to what is a better fit for your child as the difference between NorCal Premier and CalNorth (CYSA) as far as competition and the number of clubs associated with each organization is night and day.

Back in 2015, the South Valley Chivas website published a very informative article which details out the difference between the two organizations.

Again it is very important that every parent interested in competitive soccer for their son/daughter, do their homework as there are major difference between both youth soccer organization when it comes to competition and the number of teams belonging to one organization or another.

Registrations are now closed.

At this point the only way your son/daughter might be allowed to register is if you are willing to coach or volunteer.  We will not continue to take players unless we have enough volunteer coaches.

In the next couple of weeks we will be forming teams and then those rosters will be giving to coaches. They will be the ones contacting you so please be patient as we complete this process.

Porterville Soccer League Administration

Be advised that the City Of Porterville soccer league is going to be using the fields just east of the restrooms while our league will be west of the restrooms.

Please plan sufficient time for parking being both leagues use the same general area.

Our competitive club, South Valley Chivas in collaboration with California Youth Sport Management group are hosting a youth soccer camp from July 16, 17 and 19 here Porterville put on by professional youth academy coaches from Portugal’s Sports Lisboa Benefica commonly known as Benefica.

Benfica is a professional football club based in Lisbon, Portugal, that competes in the Primeira Liga, the top flight of Portuguese football, where they are the current champions.

Cost of 3 day camp is $150.
